Welcoming visitors from the Royal Thai Embassy

We were honoured to welcome Piyasurang Kuljittiprasit and Piyasurang Nathamploy from the Office of Educational Affairs at the Royal Thai Embassy in Canberra to the School of Nursing last week. They were visiting Jintana Thepsaw whose PhD is funded by the Thai government. Jin’s PhD is looking at paediatric palliative care and, in particular, the delivery of inter-cultural care by nurses. Whaea Erana and Matua John, School of Nursing Kaumātua, supported a mihi whakatau and Piyasurang and Piyasurang then met with Jin and her supervisors - Gemma Aburn, Deborah Raphael and Merryn Gott. It was great to be able to tell them how well Jin is getting on!
